Red Snowman Fabric Information:

We have had a few stitchers whose intense red fabric has rubbed off on their hands and thread. This is normal. To minimize this, you can do the following: Put 1/4 cup of white vinegar into a bowl and add 4 cups of water. Please be sure both are cold - you could add a couple of ice cubes to the bowl if you wish. Place your red fabric into the bowl and swish around. The water will turn pink. Fill another bowl with cold water and put the red fabric into it and swish around. Drain the water and repeat if necessary. Lay out a couple of paper towels and lay your red fabric on top and roll up gently to blot the water. Then put the fabric out on your grass to dry. Lightly iron it between old dish towels when it is almost dry. This will take a lot of the excess red out of the fabric. If you do not want to bother with this, ou can do what we did and just stitch it. Our snowman and our Q-snaps are a bit pink, and we love it. Have Fun.
